A British School in Alexandria
Opening in 2027
Alexandria British Academy (ABA) brings a British education experience to Alexandria as part of the Egypt Education Platform (EEP), a network of 25 institutions. Drawing on the wider network’s shared expertise and best practices, the school is built on a clear purpose: to create a holistic learning environment where every learner is recognized, valued and encouraged to thrive.
ABA will be EEP’s second school in Alexandria, following Alexandria International Academy (AIA), giving founding families the reassurance of a network with an established track record in the city.
Welcoming its first students in 2027, opening initially for Early Years and Primary, and expanding year on year as our founding cohort progresses.
ABA will combine an ambitious British education with the National Curriculum of England, providing students with a strong academic foundation and a pathway through IGCSE and A-Level qualifications.
We believe education should develop more than academic knowledge. Alongside the curriculum, ABA will focus on building strong character, encouraging students to think independently, express themselves with confidence and take responsibility for their choices.
Small class sizes, dedicated pastoral care and a structured induction process will help every child settle in and feel recognised and valued from their very first day.

It is my great privilege to welcome you to Alexandria British Academy and to share in the opportunity to build a school community, founded on a commitment to developing
the whole child.
Rooted in the values and high standards of British education, our approach goes beyond academic achievement, helping students understand the world and discover their potential.
At ABA, every child should feel safe, recognised and valued. We will encourage students to ask questions, embrace challenges and learn from mistakes, developing a genuine love of learning alongside the knowledge and confidence to pursue their aspirations.
Our vision is for academic excellence and personal growth to go hand in hand in an environment where curiosity is celebrated, effort is valued, and students learn to act with integrity and to respect others.
We look forward to welcoming our first students in 2027 and beginning this journey together.
